Geraniums, or to give them their proper name pelargoniums, are the most forgiving of plants. They will grow from a piece wrenched off and rooted in water, and will flourish year round on your windowsill. My childhood home always had red geraniums in the kitchen, flowering all through the winter.
The design on the jug is "Marlborough Spray," I collected this pattern when I lived in Marlborough.
In this painting I wanted to colours to really glow and sing, and I think they do.
