Another in my series of stripe paintings, in mainly muted blues and greys, with red and yellow accents. 
I keep returning to painting stripes, usually vertical and usually straight but sometimes bent and sometimes wandering across the canvas. They hover over a neutral coloured field and each is different, in length, breadth and colour, some are hard edged and some have fuzzy edges. Some crowd together and some have spaces between them, they are like people or upright forms in an urban forest.I love this subject for its endless possibilities and keep returning to it. This is the largest so far, being just over a metre across, so will fill a wall. Unframed, the painting continues around the edges.
